Hi all, just found this forum today.
I stopped smoking yesturday so I'm now on day 2 of my quit. I did once stop for a few months back in 2004 I was doing so well then one night in the pub suddenly felt tempted and as I'd been doing really well I thought just one would do no harm, but within a week I was back to smoking full time again After that I kept stopping and starting but have never been able to stay off for more than one week.
This time I'm using the NRT nasal spray, and I'm finding that it's really helpful:cool: I get it free from a smoking advice surgery that is held every week at my local NHS walk in centre. I know it's early days yet, but I'm feeling more postive about this than been in a long time. The spray is really helping to take the edge of things, I'm also drinking lots of water and trying to keep busy ( I find the cravings are worse when I've got nothing to take my mind off things)
I'm glad I've found this forum
Lots of luck to everyone else who's quitting for 2008:cool:
