hi I made it to day 3!!!! I have eaten like and animal since suinday i hope tomorrow I can have a healthy day of eating and manage both these addictions. But quitting smoking has priority over weight loss at the moment. I ma gonna look and see what good i have done for myself over these last three days !

Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!!! Well done, get rid of all the fine stuff in the house. Don't buy buscuits or chocolate. Chewing gum all the way!!

It's never that simple though is it!
If you chew gum, you need to make sure it sugar free.
If it's sugar free it's bound to have the ingredient 'Sorbitol' in it which acts as a laxative :eek:
So then you have to limit how much gum you chew!:rolleyes:
It's just not fair!:mad:

hahaah i know it not its like constantly trying to replace something with somethimg else its as though you need to go cold turkey on everything no just smoking ! None the less i would be happy to chew than chow down on burgers and chocs

I now have a set routine which really helps me eating wise. One of my giving up attempts i put on a stone and started smoking again because of that and it put me of quitting again.
This time i have a routine where i have the same thing to eat at work at the same time of day and i seem to be sticking to it. Good old porridge for brekkie, banaanana for 11's. Cereal for Lunch and crisp bread in the avo then when i get home i hold out until 7 and have a decent supper. Then try my hardest not to find things to snack on. Of course some days it all goes pear shaped but then that's allowed!!
I have to talk to myself while shopping.....'Step away from the chocolate and crisps aisle' with every word in between being a swear one of course

I sorted my hunger pains out with toast a couple of slices 3-4 times a day but have cut out luncheon, in between snacking on the toast I alternate between bananas and carrots.
I've not weighed myself, guessing I should, but my clothes feel no different so I don't think weight will be too much of a problem
