Hiya WhoKnows. I think it's brilliant that you've joined, regardless of the fact that you're nine days in. I found this place fantastic, whether I'm struggling or not, it's just nice to know there are other people about doing the same things, feeling the same etc.
Well done on quitting. Keep in touch with everyone. Everyone here is, has or is gonna go through the same things. We're stronger together.
Its official
I'm in week 2 (wowee). Today is day 8 (thats 8 days of not smoking for the first time in over 30 years can't bloody believe it!) and is probably my best day so far. Don't feel like murdering anyone today, not had any road rage and don't feel like its the end of the world. I know from reading other posts that the worst is not yet over but I'm going to make the most of these good days while I can. Bring it on.....
Brilliant !!!
Cazbags, that is f*****g brilliant !! I know just how chuffed you feel. I still feel like that most of the time although I do have the odd craving. But it's fantastic that you've done it for the first time in so long !! You're absolutely right to feel so proud and to enjoy every second of the journey. We need the odd bad time to remind us just how good the good times are !!
Brilliant !! Well done ! Keep it up. Much respect cos I know how hard it can be at the start - but well done for recognising all of the signs and enjoying the good bits as well as the hard bits. Awesome.
