I'm new on the forum...but reading it has gotten me this far, so I thought I'd start posting. I'm on day 23 and quite proud! I was wondernig if anyone else had suffered a nosebleed after quitting smoking?

Nose Bleed

Am on day 21 (3 weeks today) no smokes and feel fab, am currently using around 8 pieces of gum a day and now thinking of cutting it down over the next 4 weeks

I did have a nose bleed once, not heavy but a small nose bleed, I put it down to pressure at work (interview) but it could be related to stopping as I never have them. I wouldnt worry about it unless you are getting them often, then you could visit your doctor for advice if your concerened.

Hello Smoke out. I must first congratulate you on your 23 days. Wow! what an achievement.Only on day 5 myself) As to your nosebleeds - I can't relly say that it is a symtom of quitting - I'm afraid \I'm only a librarian - not a medical bod but if it is of any help I will say that I've not had a nosebleed as yet (sorry

I haven't had nosebleeds either but I remember posts along those lines so If not too drastic I believe it to be normal x x

Extra blood pumping around your body reaching parts it never has before!!

Thanks! I hope you are doing well...I've made it to day 30 and have chalked the nosebleeds up to sinuses! Have you been hanging in there? I know getting past day 3 was a hurdle for me, so you're doing great!

Thank you! I was just telling one of the other members I've chalked it up to a dry nose and sinuses! What day are you on now?

Congrats on making it to day 12! You've made it past the first week, which is a huge hurdle.
