This time round of giving up I have asked myself the same question why is it harder. I have come to this conclusion. When I last gave up life was easier. This time round life is much harder and therefore giving is up is painful. It has shocked me to realise what an impact a cigerrette has had upon my emotional wellbeing, replacing the things I should have had for years, but was denied. The sweetness though hbav comes with each day you successfully complete because that day you will never have to do again. Tonight when Day 6 is finished you can think I will never have to do day 6 again. Tomorrow is week 1 finished so well done you.

Keep going - we're all here for you - and we must stick together as together we can beat the demon.

Thanks - it really is so so so so helpful to have someone say 'well done'.

I suppose looking back over the weekend it hasn't been too bad. It was tough on saturday morning as I had a lot of stresses going on but I got through it and went on to have a pretty great day (watched bf playing football - nothing like watching men in shorts to distract you!) Best thing is that all weekend I smelt so lovely!

I need to remember to focus on the positive things - the benefits, the reasons for stopping, etc. - rather than feeling sorry for myself with no good reason.

Right - think I need to give myself a stern talking to!

Don't beat yourself up about what you should be thinking/feeling. It can be a very emotional journey - I have cried more in the last couple of weeks than I have in years!!! The biggest positive thing for you is that the desire inside you to quit and be free is greater than the pull of the tobacco and that is the key for you succeeding - just keep that fire going in your belly.

I hope you have a pot to put your cash in and watch it mount up. You could either do this every day or week or month. But when you have a nice sum you can have a massive splurge on yourself cos you deserve it girl!!

And enjoy every moment of looking at those guys in shorts cos it must be a sure way to beat any craving - phwooor!!!!

Well I'm a Ewan fan everytime!!!! And Boudee is a Johnny fan all the way!!!
