I had my last ciggie at 10pm last night, so how am I feeling...well i think it is because I am not sure what to expect so I feel as sick as I don't know what. I am just going cold turkey as my other half did it this way and has now managed to give up for just under a year!
Any hints/tips that anyone has got would be great....

First of all let me congratulate you on your decision to quit smoking! It's a very wise choice x
My tips would be to find as many things to do as possible when a craving comes!
Sipping water is very good, read, write, walk, eat, sing, make a phone call, deep breathe and imagine a beautiful scenario, come on here and throw up a post or two!! Anything but smoke!!
Keep an eye on your progress and set yourself rewards for small goals ie after 20 cigs not smoked buy yourself a favourite magazine, bath oil or item of make up etc this is especially good if you keep a jar and pop in the money you would spend on cigs, then use that money to buy your treats.
I smoked for 18 years, since I was 15. At my height i was on 30 a day though this last year or so it's been 20 a day.
Yeah I know what you mean about the 'only feels like yesterday' thing, I have always thought about worrying about smoking and giving up 'when i am older' Seems now my health is being effected and I am 'getting older!' hehe that snuck up on me!
I have tried giving up a few times before, my longest quit was 8 months, so stupid to go back to smoking and keep going through this quitting!
I have absolutly no intention of ever smoking again! it's too much like hard work!
