wound vac post kidney transplant anyone?

I am 3 weeks out from my living donor transfer. I had drainage the entire time from the staples. It was swollen and reddish. I now have a would vac. Anyone else with this experience?

I am sorry I am not familiar with your situation. My experience is with my grandson, 12 yrs old. Many protocols are different for pediatric transplants. We are doing very well so far ,9 mos out,. I can tell you that things improved slowly but surely. So far so good. I wish you a speedy recovery and many years with your new kidney...take care of it!
