eGFR fluctuating

Hi I was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy about 4 years ago. My creatine levels where between 140 to 150 , no protein in the urine and slightly anemic and have microscopic blood in urine. I’ve had a few colds and passed gross blood in the urine fir a day or two during the cold.

Bit weird my last two creatine readings where 112 with no protein. Hence pretty much a GFR of 60 (better considering my body mass is greater than 173)

My specialist was quite taken a pack and said “just keep doing whatever your doing”

Anyone else has a similar reduction in creatine? Did you get an explanation?

Hi thanks. no I haven’t. But, I have heard if my BP was a bit higher during my blood test that may have also caused the lower reading (for some reason). I do get a bit anxious with these tests and I do take ACEI for BP

Because Acei will cause a rise of creatinine
