Hi All-

I am writing on behalf of my father, who just turned 59 and has had type 1 diabetes since he was in his late 20's. He recently is reaching closer to having to be on Dialysis. Watching a family member suffer through the disease of Diabetes is bad enough, but when you can't help its gut wrenching. My mom is in the process of the match pair program to donate her kidney so my dad can get a kidney at the same time. Looking for anyone who has gone through this experience. Looking for more support than anything. We have our faith and each other to lean on but sometimes it's nice to connect with others going through similar stores

Hi, I too am nearing dialysis so I can completely relate to what you’re going thru. I get my lab done in a couple of weeks and I’m scared. I’ve seen some people do great while others don’t. I’m always afraid of the unknown. I too have my faith and my husband and am on the transplant list but no donor for me. Prayers for your family. God can do anything😀
