gp wants to see me. bloods say low sodium , low potassium Creatine top end near high and something called egrf low end. im on 2 bp meds and no issues . also told yearly review (same time got message ) please check bp if yiu have machine at home . someone said i should take urine sample with me and there's an ACR? urine test ..

i drink as much water as poss but suffer constipation slow bowel transit abd need laxatives and seem to pee more after a bm or laying down . ages

Hi you egfr is for your kidney score and filtration rate if it is your score is low that may mean your kidneys are not working properly x

oh thanks. no idea why low sodium and potassium too. had low sodium before , hospital , had to reduce fluid intake . guess ill take urine sample too next week . worried now.. whats high end creatanine mean

The GP will ask for a urine sample and explain about the numbers. Meanwhile, go to kidney.org and check it out

It ties in with your kidneys that will be why your showing a low count on your kidney score but please don't worry as your doctor / Consultant should do more investigations x

The ACR you mentioned is known as an Albumin/Creatinine Ratio. The ACR is used to assess kidney function. When the kidneys are damaged, they may allow more albumin to leak into the urine. A high ACR can indicate kidney damage.
