Sudden drop in gfr

My creatinine was 1.14 and gfr was 87, 3 months ago but Dr prescribed me enalapril 20 mg for 1+ proteinurea, but after taking medicine for three months my creatinine is now 1.57 and gfr is 59 i am much worried what is happening with me

Like so many drugs, the one youve been prescribed can cause kidney damage (link below/serious side effects). Im far from an expert on drugs so the best advice is probably to go back to your prescribing Dr.

I was on metformin and over a few months I went from 93 to 46. Mine was the metformin. I've been off it 8 weeks now and it's gone up 10. Definitely see if possible if you can come off it. I took no other replacement drug for awhile and realised that medicine was the problem. Good luck you need to get it sorted asap.
