I sure need some support; my biggest fear is that I am facing death with no options
Your biggest fear is fear itself. While I'm not a medical person, many of your conditions you've listed do seem to linked to your kidney situation. I, too, was exceptionally worried when my diabetic husband, with his soaring blood pressure and more, began to lose his kidneys. (he was on 3 or 4 blood pressure meds at the time.) He did, indeed, lose his kidneys and was placed on dialysis. He had anemia, too, at that time. I thought that dialysis was a path to death. But, it wasn't! His blood pressure dropped, he received treatment for his anemia, and so on. He looked so good when I picked him up at the hospital - his blood pressure was now stabilized, his color was good, and his energy was back. Later, he received a kidney transplant at age 71. You're on a journey and you're not at the end of the journey. Do the best you can to keep yourself as healthy and stable as possible you go down the road. And should that time come, if ever, your medical professionals will give you additional options. We are blessed - it's the 21st Century. And keep your focus on today. Always remember the saying: Yesterday is gone, tomorrow isn't here, so live today and live it well!
thank you for giving me the courage to forge on; i'm going to try my best is scary though. Arlene
What makes you think you're going to die (well everyone does, it's how you face it, cowering in the corner or laughing in death's face) that sets people apart. All of the conditions you've listed are manageable. I have Graves Disease which causes hyperthyroidism, I have a genetic eye and hearing disorder so I may go blind and deaf eventually. I just started peritoneal dialysis. I get up every day and look for good things, and I always find at least one. Unless you are in a coffin there's always a chance to have a good day.
Sorry to hear about all your health problems.I don't understand if your saying these problems you mentioned are from your kidney disease or in addition to it
The advice you got from others are right on the dot.
I have made some adjustments in my life and have started to accept dialysis in my future life. God bless you
