July 2017 I found out I had End Stage Renal Failure. I literally thought that was the end of my life. I spent about 3 weeks in the hospital. My world was flipped upside down. I started dialysis and got put on tons of medication. After I was released I found myself getting depressed just sitting at home. Fast forward a few months I got comfortable with my situation and started to get back to my normal self.. Well new normal. I started getting out and hanging out with my friends again and it felt good. Fast forward to now i'm getting ready for my transplant and living my best life.

Wishing you well on your journey.
Thanks for taking the time to post. I am nearing the end of my journey with my kidneys which are now down to 13% so looks like dialysis is the next stop for me. It is good to hear that you were able to go through this and have emerged the other side into a good place.
Thank you for your inspiring message! Best wishes for your transplant.
Glad to hear you've adjusted. Sounds like you've gone through a grieving process and pulled through. Good luck with your transplant and best wishes for a quick recovery.
What a great attitude. It helps me and I’m sure others also, to hear anyone going thru CKD in any stage, being a comfort to others and getting thru it with a great outlook. Way to live life🙏🏻🌈
You are an inspiration and should continue to post here on Health Unlocked. There are other communities such as "transplant". You would be helping others who have or are about to go through what you are. No one knows what is it like except someone who has walked the walk. Good for you for being so courageous.
