CLINICAL TRIALS?

I have heard that clinical trials exist for experimental devices that can be worn on the body of a dialysis patient that will do the job of the big machines (I do not know whether it is under the heading of "hemo" or "peritoneal" dialysis, but I would *think* it makes sense (and less dangerous) if it were PD-related).

Has anyone else heard of clinical trials of this sort being performed? I do not know where I heard this, but I believe the trials are being performed in the Northwest (WA, if I remember correctly).

I've attached a link to a clinical trial you might be interested in reading about. Hope you find it interesting.
