Printed out the 12wk Weight Loss Plan!

still mentally ready to officially 'start' it on Monday 27th November :)

Hubs is interested too. Although unlike me, he does NOT have around 10kgs to shed.

Going to place the Weekly Planner in full view so I can't avoid it LOL

Will upload a picture when I have :)

Well done a great start. Can you dip your toe in the water and start to eat more healthily over the weekend? There is little point in having a blow out - because then you will have to lose that too!

Thanks Ceals :)

In one way, I already have started. When doing food shopping I am making a real mental note of what has been put in the shopping basket and questioning 'Do we really need that?'

My husband doesn't really care as long as he's getting fed...... ;)

I agree with your point as I've had to prepare a lot of my food separately for almost a year now.

My only concern when people strive to achieve anything together is that if the other person drops out they are more likely to as well. Can't see that happening with someone called Power_Piglet though (cool name :) ).

Tiggerr, for me its a team effort. Has to be a Life Change, not a short term thing.

I guess I am lucky in that we both like similar things - and hate the similar things too.

Saying that, it is tough. I love Cheese whereas he HATES cheese.

So when making things like Moussaka, its not topped with cheese :(

Even the Béchamel Sauce is less in quantity than what I would like :(

ah thanks Minniewinny :)

He can see how both mentally and physically unhappy I am. Not too sure how much he will get involved in but he said he will support me. That's all I ask.

Welcome Power_Piglet

Following that plan is right up there with one of the best things that's ever happened to me, though not as good as finding this forum.

Good luck with your new journey.

Glad you have a partner to do it with. Good luck to you on your journey!!

Good luck Power_Piglet I am also trying to change my ways for ever and its quite empowering when you can look at the chocolate/sweets/cakes etc and think no they aren't for me and not feel deprived!I did resort to 1 square of the 85% plain chocolate the other night - it was so strong I wont be needing any for a while!!! And I did include it in my calories for the day:D
