Hi and welcome, Nettyninga :)

You may find this interesting dietdoctor.com/nutritional-...

All of the information you need about the forum can be found in Pinned Posts healthunlocked.com/weight-l... and we hope you'll be joining all the Events, Challenges and Clubs that we run, especially the weigh-in and daily diary.

If you haven't already taken it, here's a tour of the forum healthunlocked.com/?tour=true

We've found active participation to be key to successful weight loss and, of course, it's a good way to get to know people, find inspiration and share support and encouragement.

Wishing you all the best :)

Welcome Hidden moreless has given you a couple of good links. Have a read and then get stuck in. You will get good advice and support here. Good luck 😄

Hi Fatpanther

Welcome back to the Weight Loss support, and thanks for doing exactly what the forum is about, support :)

If you're restarting, or still on your weight loss journey it would be great to see you in the various groups we have here. Some of them have changed since you were last here, so, in case you need it, here's the link to all the pinned posts that will help you see what's here.

If you have achieved your goal then maybe the Maintainers Club might interest you, that's in the pinned posts too.

If too much has changed and you're having any trouble getting onto a group you want to participate in, just give us a shout.

Best wishes :)

Osteo arthritis is an inflammatory condition therefore you need to cut out inflammatory foods from your diet. As it happens the most inflammatory foods tend to be the ones which make you put on weight. There are lots of anti inflammatory diets online but one thing common to all of them is that you need to cut out refined carbs like processed food including white wheat flour, sugar and fruit juices, even fruit smoothies are less healthy than eating the whole fruit. Other things which many say cause inflammation are refined seed oils as in margarine and cooking oils.
