Morning guys so today I'm starting my diet and eating healthier with foods I enjoy but alot less as I am in severe pain with my ostio arthritus and 2 kids to look after things have got to change I'm 2 stone over weight

No I won't worse thing you can do I've been eating healthy and regular too much fruit I think but it really helps start my day.
Osteo arthritis is an inflammatory condition therefore you need to cut out inflammatory foods from your diet. As it happens the most inflammatory foods tend to be the ones which make you put on weight. There are lots of anti inflammatory diets online but one thing common to all of them is that you need to cut out refined carbs like processed food including white wheat flour, sugar and fruit juices, even fruit smoothies are less healthy than eating the whole fruit. Other things which many say cause inflammation are refined seed oils as in margarine and cooking oils.
