I thought I would keep a weight loss blog and post regularly to keep my own motivation up and hopefully motivate others to keep going.
I am 22 years old, 5ft 8inches and 13 stone. This puts me in the overweight BMI so ideally I am looking to lose 2 stone and sit around the 11 stone mark. I am planning to do this through eating whole and nutritious foods, limiting portion size and increasing my exercise.
My goal will be to exercise 3 times per week and eat 1500-1600 calories per day. I will not be cutting out alcohol (that would be almost impossible at 22!) but I will try to keep it to once a week and stick to lower calorie drinks.
I am not worried about rushing this weight loss as I would rather take my time and get into some good habits in order for my new weight to be maintained.
Would love to hear from some fellow dieters about how they are starting on their own journeys
We can do this!!

Hi! I'm 5'5 12.6 stone and in the overweight category. I have been dieting since June. I have stalled for several weeks but I am still going strong. Good luck to you!
