Thank you, folks!

I've never bothered joining forums as they inevitably end up negative and critical, but this one is so different, and I wanted to say thank you! My weight loss is very very slow, but I'm thinking more carefully about my food and drink choices because of you lovely people. A couple of weeks after I started contributing regularly to this site I'm finding that you are my biggest supporters and I don't want to let you down. Finding some willpower and taking baby steps at first was just what I needed. :)

I've just joined too and find that being part of a supportive community like this is inspirational and motivating. It's interesting to read about other peoples journeys and learning new tips and ideas from their experiences. Good luck 🙂

Hi Lakeswimmer, IMHO slow and steady weight loss is the best. Gives your body time to get used to the 'new you' and is likely to be more sustainable long term, which is what we all want. Stay positive and keep up the good work :)

I agree, this forum is wonderful! Its given me much needed accountability - and for the first time ever given me the commitment needed for a life change.
