I'm new here!

Hello everyone, I've just signed up today and am going to start the NHS 12-Week plan.

I took the BMI test and it was a bit of a shocker, I know that I've gained a lot of weight recently and would need to lose at least 4 stone to be in the healthy weight category (I'm in the obese category at the moment)

I started a diet and exercise plan this time last year and lost 5lbs in January and then gave up and gained the 4 stone I now need to lose!

Any tips for keeping active or any tips in general would be very much appreciated!

I look forward to your replies!

Thank you very much! I'll make sure to join in as much as I can in the forums! :) I look forward to sharing my journey with you & everyone else!

I like to use exercise workouts on you tube. It is free and I can do it when the kids are in bed - though over xmas they were joining in with me - grrr. I started with Denise Austin she isn't too scary. 😀

Hello & thank you for the message :) I have a few DVDs that I bought (celebrity ones) and have found some useful but I never thought to use YouTube! I'll definitely give it a go! Thank you :)

It is good because you can do a variety some days I feel like dancing, sometimes I like a bit of step, I have just started doing more intense classes using the pop sugar exercise workouts - they get you really sweaty! Gross😀
