WE ARE ON WEEK 2 way to go that amazing would you have thought it a few weeks ago good luck everyone enjoy yourselves and keep safe remember you have headphones on with cars ect please. Let me know how you get on Gareth

Woohoo! W2R1 under my belt and feeling on top of the world! :)

I won't lie, sometimes the 90 secs felt long and the 60 secs felt short, but there were moments when I actually felt like a runner! :D

It puts you on such a high afterwards, I'm buzzing now! :)

Your we'll on the way I've just been out had a great run before work.I used to think runners were a special breed but if I can do anyone can well done keep it up and most of all enjoy yourself

I'm a fan of open ear headphones. They're pricey but it means I can have music AND hear the traffic (and the birds come to that).

W2R1 completed. Bit of a back and forward run because I wasn't sure of a circular route around my folks' home. Have to turn off notifications too, I keep getting interrupted with emails!

WTG Jem! I'm going to do backwards and forwards tomorrow, in an attempt to avoid the steeper hills and be able to stick to the correct intervals - hope I don't get dizzy! :D

Hills?? I had one at my mum and dads yesterday and it killed my ankles. Will be doing my next run when I get back home tomorrow instead 😄.

And moreless perhaps a bit of dizziness adds to the experience lol! 😂

I'm not keen on the hills, but I have to get used to it as they're all around us! :D

Maybe if I'm dizzy, I won't be as aware of how knackered I am! :D

It went really well :)

I was ok with the longer runs and found it went surprisingly quick!

Well done! :)

I found that having the longer runs allowed you to get more used to running and feeling like a runner, although, towards the end, I did feel quite puffed out! ;)

Yes I definitely felt more like a runner 😁

I got a bit panicky towards the end as I must have missed Laura saying you're half way through now, (unless she doesn't?!) so I assumed I wasn't anywhere near half way through and I was just starting to lag a little bit and thought there's no way I can keep going and do that again!! But it turned out I was on my last run 😁

I can't get the Laura podcast on my phone, so I have to time myself. It's a bit of a pest, because I have to wear my glasses to be able to see my watch and they get steamed up with my sweatiness! :D

Jiake. I downloaded 1 of the apps, but didn't like it. I need to know whether I've got 10 secs or 50 secs to go, not just be left for the whole stretch. I didn't find it encouraging enough, in fact, quite the reverse.

Maybe it's just me! :o

Hi everyone,

I went for my run at 8.04pm and I really enjoyed it. It was a beautiful evening, and there weren't that many people around. I hadn't really felt like doing it, I admit, but I forced myself, and I am so glad I did, as I feel really so much happier now, and buzzing with the adrenalin, so it's been a good experience!

I'm going to watch some TV now, and relax - I've had a shower and I'm still sweating... but hopefully I'll calm down as the evening progresses.

Hope everyone has had a great day and I'm looking forward to reading how your runs have gone, as and when you're doing them.
