A bit disappointed

Had my weekly weigh in this morning and lost 1 1/2lb was hoping for a bit more. I am struggling a bit with the exercise as my hours have increased at work until the school summer holidays and not completely sure I know my way around this site well enough. Only joined two weeks ago.

Well done for losing 1 1/2lb that's great. Don't beat yourself up for doing so well. Enjoy, well done.

1 1/2 lb is fab - we all know there's no quick fix x

I know it's better than nothing but we all want the weekly weigh in to be more. Don't we

It's taken me 12 weeks to lose 15lb and if someone told me I would be 15lb lighter 12 weeks ago I would have been over the moon. So I don't think that losing more than 1-2lb a week is necessary as long as ultimately it's coming off, you feel better and still enjoying life without watching your weight becoming a chore.

Look at most of the people on this site your weight loss is about all we lose and they have so much fun. I almost dread losing all the other 4 stone I need to lose as then I won't need to come on this site (mmmmm🤔🤔).

Have a good Thursday everyone, I'm off for my walk soon as pledged.

I'm sure you'll still be allowed in! After all, once I hit my goal I'm sure I'll still need help with maintaining! And if not, it's still a great excuse. ;)

I think I'd prefer to lose 1.5lbs a week for 2 weeks (hopefully!) rather than say 3 and then flatline the next week as that would for me be more demotivating than a 3lb loss would be motivating. Keep checking in and exploring this site I found it 3 weeks ago and really appreciate all the tips and guidelines and the support from everyone! :-)

I read somewhere losing a lot of weight quickly can often result in a rapid gain afterwards 😕 1-2lbs a week the best 😊 Good luck!
