Oh bless you- i get this too- at the moment i'm using a saline nose spray from the chemist which seems to help temporarily for the forehead and cheek pain. Probably worth giving your doctor a call though : )

I also get this occasionally and keep a small jar of Vick and some Olbas oil in the medicine cupboard just in case. There are also tablets like Sudafed for sinus problems (I can't take these).

Try relaxing in a hot bath? Steam is good for easing sinus discomfort. Maybe avoid too much dairy food for a day or two as that can encourage mucus, which is not good if you are feeling all blocked up.

This may sound too obvious, but have you taken ibuprofen? If you have inflammation of the membranes this can be reduced, and it will move your pain levels right down. Then get going with the other remedies. I got this tip from NHS direct, when I had such bad pain that I wondered if I was really too old to get meningitis....I was so grateful to the nurse on the phone.

Poor you. I suggest you buy a neti pot to wash out the infection. You can see a video on YouTube of how it's done. it might be worth asking your doctor if they can prescribe you one, if not they cost about £12 up to £ 20 depending on where you buy it from. Amazon is a good place to look.

Poor you..................... have you tried massage just underneath the eye socket bones, start from closer to the nose and massage out....... also, from just underneath the eyebrows then massage up and over the eyebrows...... it does help move the blockage somewhat . I hope you feel better soon.
