I don't seem to be getting anywhere, 6 months on and I'm back at my starting weight! Even with exercising everyday, sometimes TWICE a day, and nothing! Decided to book an appointment at my doctors for Weight Management... Perhaps it's all down to portion control. Anybody else had this problem/or similar? I'm hoping Weight Management classes will help!

Exercise has only a limited effect on weight loss, you need to focus on your diet. Not an excuse to stop exercising though as exercise is good for your health in so many other ways.
Are you following slimming world to the letter? In particular the points about making sure that at least 1/3 of each meal is vegetables and that you stop eating when you are full?
Try spending your syns on fats rather than on sugar; try and cut sugar out of your diet altogether.

I don't know about slimming world but when I started the NHS 12 week plan I discovered that my portion control was rubbish. When I started using my kitchen scales to weigh my food I discovered that I had been nearly doubling the correct portion, no wonder I gained weight even though my diet was already pretty healthy.
