Feeling bad for eating crisp

I didn't eat a lot of crisp, just a hand full, but I ate it for no reason, I wasn't even hungry and I ate it and now I feel really bad and i just think that I am going to add on weight really quickly. I rarely eat crisp and I don't know why I ate it, I just did and now i feel really bad and guilty.

Are you doing anything at the moment? If not, go for a 20 minute run. It might not burn off what you ate but you will feel alot better and be reminded of what you are hoping to achieve :)

Don't beat yourself up over a hand full of crisps. It`s not the end of the world. Stop now and think what you are really aiming for. I find keeping busy is the best thing when my good intentions are going out of the window. Stay positive, don't let a small slip ruin what you have achieved so far. Good luck. We are all in the same boat, you are not alone

Don't fell bad! We are all human, the most important thing is that you recognised it and can be more aware of your natural pattern and find ways to avoid it next time. All experience (no matter how negative they seem) is good experience.

I agree with kimmy - if you have a spare 10 mins go for a walk or climb some steps! It will raise they heart rate and help you get you back in the mental sphere of looking after yourself.

Don't feel bad, I think we have all been there feeling so guilty for a slip up! It's not the end of the world and if it was so very little, as long as you get back on track it won't affect your weight loss!

The others' idea of going out for a walk is a good one, you will burn off some calories and cleat your head at the same time. Win win! Stay strong! 🌸

Hi! You need to have 3500 calories to put on a pound of fat, so you are not going to put on real weight, but scales will show a disappointing gain because of water retention, which will go away. Drink water and stick to your halthy routines. Good luck!

know what you mean dylansmum. Sometimes it seems like that, I think sometimes I look at food and the fat is on the body but if you write on MFP app honestly you be surprised how many calories you have eaten, usually 3500, no wonder I piled so much on with my evening hour of eating!!

That's just a tiny slip and I'm sure you won't do it again. It's a lesson learnt which is always a good thing.

I remember popping a fishball into my mouth during five years of eating as a vegetarian! I just laughed - we're all only human. Welcome to the ridiculous side of life!

Think we all feel guilty when we "pig" out. I've had a few moments the past weeks. Just get back onto sensible eating and enjoy, you'll have plenty of blips but get back up and start again!
