Anybody here with tips for weight loss for those who suffer from PCOS? I am trying my best to be positive and focus on fitness more than weight loss... but it gets really difficult to keep myself motivated when the weighing scale refuses to budge even after months of working out and dieting.

Weight loss with PCOS
PCOS has come up a few times. Has your doctor given you any advice? One suggestion is to try a low carb diet or a low GI diet. This should also help you to lose weight. Good luck, it's not an easy condition to manage.
Hey early, I feel your pain as I also have pcos but you must not give up ask your doctor to send you to a nutritionist they can help you with your diet and I would recommend the book the ultimate pcos hand book by Colette Harris, hope this helps
Ask your GP if they can prescribe metformin, just for say, max one month, as this could help with the hormonal side of things. Your GP may want to do a blood test first to check how quickly sugar is taken into your blood stream first. If they agree, it is a good way to help kick start the plan. I would also reccomend cutting out all sugar.
