Just a short answer for now! It's given me all of my friends here. So many friends, I actually got to meet in person with 1 MS Warrior from Washington State as she was driving on a nearby freeway! What a joy! Then a young man who was getting a coffee, said he couldn't help but hearing us introduced himself! Small World MS Warriors! He just seemed so young to begin his MS journey!

It's actually given me more patience and tolerance towards people in general but a whole lot less for the unimportant things in life. Some of that could just be due to my age, but most of the time I'm able to say "We're here, and we're alive. The sun is shining, and it doesn't get any better than this."

Of course, when I'm having a bad day, I just hide in the house and grumble. 😜

Then there's a bunch of bad hair days, not that it's a gift but not giving a flying !@#$ is.👍😅

i agree it has brought some wonderful people to me and i have met some great people else where for i was always working or home with our children ...so my life has grown so much with some great people ..yes i had known some great people before getting it but have met even more since getting it ...more patience and do enjoy things that i never had time for ...so yes it takes a lot but it also gives me more to love ...hope all can have some of the same things that are better in their lives...

Ms has given me more compassion for others who are fighting any sort of fight, it has given me more time with friends and family ( instead of being on call at the hospital) and to totally NOT take for granted the small things in life

Its given me an opportunity to get to know all the wonderful people here & know that we are never alone in this world. Its also taught me how to be grateful. It sounds odd but MS was probably the best thing that's ever happened to me other than giving birth to my daughter. It has given me a different set of eyes that has enabled me to see the beauty in this otherwise ugly world.
