I am 7 years in on Ocrevus. I hadn't had any issues with infections until a few months ago. I have a skin fungal infection called seborrheic dermatitis that I am having trouble keeping under control. I am sure the immunosuppression isn't helping.I hope you find something that serves you better!

So sorry for all your troubles. Life can throw lots of stuff at us, all at one time. Good to see your name here again. I'm not on much anymore either, but love to see the "old-timers" names here every now and then. I'm still doing very well, compared to most of you. I am on Kesimpta, and it's doing well so far, going on 2nd year of it. Praying you'll soon get to feeling better, and maybe another type of DMT.

Pam, first I want to welcome you back, you've been missed in the chat room. Secondly I had to get off Ocrevus because as I aged, hit my sixties, my immune system weakened and that combined with the Ocrevus also weakening my immune system I got some very bad infections. I too went through a very rough streak having to spend 2 weeks in the hospital and another 2 weeks in a rehab center to build backup my strength. Because of my MS and the infection my body decided It wasn't going to listen to me any longer. I had literally little to no control over anything. I felt like I was a paraplegic. It wasn't a fun feeling.😒😪 Fancy59.

ever feel like you are in a pit? it's is good to know i am not alone

hi pamgarner

Sounds like you’ve had a go of it-sorry 😞

Do they think your development of colitis falls under “rare side effect “ they’ve been mentioning recently?

Hope things start to look up & you find a new treatment plan that works for you.

Is hubby doing well?

Hi Pam…sorry you’ve been on a roller coaster! I’ve had trouble due to Ocrevus similar to Fancy1959 but different too. I was sick with bad infections most of last year. Had 2 hospital stays and surgery all because Ocrevus depleted my immune system so badly. I’m not on a DMT currently and will be getting a second opinion about that in July. I’m now leary of all the b-cell depleters.

Glad to hear you are ok after the car crash.

Ocrevus has done no favors for me, it was really doing more harm than good to me. A lot of damage. Zero benefits.
