I purchased a new laptop to replace the one I had that was on it's last leg. I have so much on the old computer that I use to do dog rescue stuff online that I don't want to lose it all so I bit the bullet and bought a new one. Have been moving all the files over and I think I'm almost back to where I was. Computer is much faster though windows 10 is quite different.
Also, the last 3 days I have been a bit dizzy and more tired than usual, thankfully today it is much better. I haven't been dizzy like that or for that long since my last relapse before filing for disability in 2008.
Hope everyone is having a good day and enjoying the cooler weather that is starting to enter some areas.

bxrmom you clever girl, being able to transfer all your files, well done. My husband bought me an Apple Mac because my windows up broke. Everyone was telling me how easy it is to use. I really dislike it, I only use it for my accounts, I use my iPad all the time, windows was much easier to use. Enjoy, blessings Jimeka π¦ π π€
jimeka I have a program called 'Carbonite' that backs up everything on my computer into the cloud so I can download it if my computer crashes or in this case, get a new computer before the old one dies.
The last mac I used was when I went to college in 2000 and I had a basic 'technology' class. From what I hear from some people, they are not the easiest to use but I have always had a windows computer
and where is the cloud?(as Jackie looks all around wondering which one looks like Elvis....)gotta have it but do not appreciate technology as I should....
Have to ask my bro. But I believe it called mirroring . Slows u to run Windows on Apple computer while working from both , for different reasons. NVM lol
greaterexp thanks. Yes, I have a hate/love relation with technology sometimes lol Just the laptop that I replaced was from blackfriday of 2008 with Windows 7 so that tells you how hold it is lol
Thanks for checking in. Iβm just adjusting to Windows 10, not sure if Iβm ready for so many features. Kudos to you, our local library offers pc classes and I think Iβm going to sign up for a few. Iβm still hesitant about using βThe Cloud!β My head is already there, so maybe I should dive in!
Sure hope the dizzy issues go away so you can enjoy the new Pc. Lynn
Thanks CalfeeChick yesterday the headache was gone until evening time and then it's back today, especially after I came back in the house from cleaning up after my dog while my bf mows the lawn for probably the last time of the year. This crazy weather does crazy things I tell you.
Windows 10 is a bit different and taking some time to get used to....not sure why they had to change things up from lol
Iona60 I have thought about it possibly being a relapse as well. I know my previous neuro said I had a 'silent' attack like 4-5 years ago that didn't cause me to notice any issues like previous attacks.
bxrmom A while back kdali posted a time lapse video of someone's frequent MRIs. It showed him having many relapses without ever know it. It was amazing to view.
jackiesj It is an all breed dog rescue where 12 new dogs go to prison for training to learn their basic commands. The name of the rescue is: Refurbished Pets of Southern Michigan. You can check out the program here: rpsm.org if you would like.
Wish I could help you with sticky keys, those are the worst. Sometimes it is a matter of cleaning, replacing the keys, or....new computer all together
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling that well, bxrmom . Today is a new day and I hope you'e feeling better. Just thinking about what you did to transfer things to your new computer strains my brain and exhausts me. Great job!π
Thanks WAshingtongirl transfering the documents really wasn't hard because it was all backed up so just had to install the program and let it do it's thing π
I think I may be getting a sinus infection and if I am still having Bad headaches Monday I will call my family doctor. Seems like I get one about every 6 months or so π
I wonder if the change in weather might have something to do with it? Sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope it isn't a sinus infection, and that the headache goes away.
Thanks WAshingtongirl The more I think about it, I think it might be a sinus infection because of the headaches, pain around and above my eyes and back of my head, sensitively to cold on my upper teeth (which usually happens when I have a sinus infection) and lately a runny nose. Also have been having more neck pain than usual (even after seeing my chiro on Wednesday).
May go to walkin clinic tomorrow if it's really persistent tomorrow or Sunday. Will definitely call family Dr on Monday.
