Cap on MS Medication How do I get a refill?

Hi Everyone,

I just received some resources to call about 'No Pay Co Pay.' I went to refill my mediation in May and was told the vendors changed. I had to call a different vendor and get a debit card with a declining balance for Aubagio. I just called the other day and was told I have to pay $3,800 for my medication in order for it to be renewed for 90 days. They said my debit card was depleted and that was my balance. Has anyone had any problems refilling their medicine? Thank you.

Yes, I have some issues in getting my meds, Insurance companies apparently love to see if stress really does affect MS activity! It sounds as though your card doesn't have enough money on it to pay the co-pay. I would call the people/organization who issued your No Pay

CoPay card, and ask them to help. Please ask them to hurry, as you don't want to get behind on your medication. Since it is a new vendor, they may need direction on how your card works.

Get your MS doctor involved they should be able to help. Also check into switching vendors. It sounds like your in-network may have changed? If nothing else, your doctor should be able to get it Pre-authorized with your insurance so they will cover it.I wouldn't pay a cent!

They should of told you the new cost before it shipped...

Oh no!! I guess my first communications would be to my doctor and to the copay assistance program.
