I'm a little frustrated with my hand not listening to me

I am hoping the exercises will help maintain the flexibility I have left.

maintaining what we have left is a reasonable goal, right?

Rubik's cube - also brain exercise. Widely available. Lots of youtube videos on how to do it.

My physio said the best hand exercise is functional tasks eg solving a cube, peeling vegetables because the hand is so complex its difficult to devise exercises that use all the muscles. I think it's stretching a point to call solving a rubik's cube "functional" ...

To exercise fine finger control I've also been playing minesweeper at

minesweeper.online/

Yeah, nerdy, I admit it. And retro.

I will have to try the Rubik's cube. It has been many years since I have tried to figure one out. Thank you. πŸ‘

I remember i learned a method of getting one side all one color but i don't think i could do it again. Good luck. it takes good eye hand coordination and cognitive skills.

Incredible! Thanks ! For the arms I take bottles of water of liter and a half , and move up 20 times for each arm. And for legs I move them sit , as I was playing football, and cross them when I am sit.

I use the hand therapy exercise balls. Usually come in a pack of three. The different color are like different resistance. Just have to squeeze and manipulate them. Also therapy putty

I use hand putty that I squeeze and rotate in my hand. I got it from my hand PT. Got putty on Amazon. There are different strengths so start with soft.

Hi. Just saw your post. For the first time in my 23 years with MS; I had 3 weeks of o/t for my right hand. We did hand flexion and extension on my right leg. Holding a 4oz. bottle of water with arm extended ( to help with tone). And some other arm exercises to help with tone. It’s slow positive , but I’m due for an Ocrevus infusion on the 24th so I think progress is slower.
