I saw the eye dr & he said I have 20/20 for distance vision. I've never had that even with glasses. So now I have cheaters for up-close vision. I'm supposed to go back in June for my final exam & then get a script. He said by then I will know if I just want reading lenses or bifocal lenses. So far I just want reading lenses. I have worn glasses since I was 9 years old. I can't tell you how happy I am to be able to see things clearly. I'm even seeing things I haven't seen before, most of it is dust & cobwebs, but things look brighter than they were. This morning I got to experience headlights that weren't giant glow balls that blinded me. Now I have eyes that see & ears that hear due to the hearing aids I got in December. It's almost as if a whole new world has opened up to me. I am amazed at how I adapted to the slow changes as I lost my hearing & eyesight without much thought. It has really given me a new perspective, just as being diagnosed with MS did, I learned to stop & smell the roses. Now I can & see & hear the beauty in the world.

Lucky you! My right eye gives me fits.
Great news, ask your opthamologist about Vuity
Sounds like maybe you had cataract surgery? I was totally amazed when I got new lenses in my eyes. I went from being legally blind without my glasses and a script of 575 to seeing 20/15 after 2 weeks past the second eye being done. I was shocked when I could open my eyes in the morning and see the clock on the wall across the room. Amazing isnt it? I didnt have the extra money to pay for the lenses to correct the close up vision too so I am using readers only but what a difference!
Yes it is amazing! I'm using readers too. I have astigmatism & couldn't afford the lenses for that either but I am happy with what I've got. It's one of those things that's hard to explain to someone that's never had very bad eyesight kinda like explaining MS so I just tell them it's like a miracle, in fact it is a miracle that they can do stuff like this. I'm just grateful beyond compare. π€
