New glasses (progressive this time)

Went to the eye doc last week and my vision had gotten a little worse. Last year he told me that I was borderline bifocal and could choose if I wanted them last year or wait. I chose to wait until this year when they had got a little worse (.1) so that wasn't too bad but optometrist said it would be easier on my eyes if I got them. After talking with the BEST lady about the new glasses that I wanted, I placed my order (which was WAY cheaper than last year). She kept saying how 'kick butt' my vision insurance was and what it covered. Guess something changed from last year? Anyway, I ordered Progressive lenses this time and they came in today! I'm very happy with them and I really can't tell that they are progressive though if you look close you can tell that they are :) Took this while I had my dog outside today.

I have gotten mine from Costco and it seems like it takes a few times in and out of the sun and they get darker and lighter quicker 👍. Mine seem way darker than beginning 😉. Hope they work out for you 🙏😊 Ken 🐾🐾

So far they seem to be working GREAT! I can see much better with the little change that was made and was able to keep the transition lenses as well :)

They look nice! I have progressive lenses. I remember the first time I got them I had to look way down to get to the top part of the lenses to step down from a curb! Now I can't even tell. So if they bug you at first, just give them time. You will get used to them!

They look really nice. I've had progressive lenses for about 25 years now. I don't know how people see out of regular bifocals, it would really bug me. I wish I could wear the transitions but they bother me for some reason.

Lookin' good! I have worn progressive transitions for years and loved them! Just in the last few years the transitions were able to get darker and that was great for anyone who lives in Arizona!

I’m one of those people that could never get used to progressive lenses. I wish I could but I tried for 3 months without success. It was like looking into a funhouse mirror all the time. I hope they work well for you.

Thanks, Raingrrl I have some friends that have had them and they could not get used to them for anything so I was a little worried I was going to have the same issue. Luckily I have had no issues so far. Not sure if it is because of the difference is so small of a change from last year? I'm happy with them.
