Made it out of house
I’m so glad you got out of the house, even for an appointment. I hope your eyes improve quickly.
Hi luvhair ! That's great that you got out of your house for a bit. Its too easy for us that don't work to feel isolated when we don't get out.
I have nystagmus in both eyes from M.S. The weird thing is although my doctors can see it in both eyes, its my right eye that gives me the most trouble. I rarely notice it in the left.
What it has meant is that I can't read or use my lap top for more than an hour or so at a time and sometimes not even that. Both of these activities cause fatigue because my eyes are working extra hard to maintain stable vision. I'm nearsighted and only wear glasses for distance. I tried progressive lenses one time for 3 months and my brain never adjusted.
Hi Raingrrl I also have nystagmus in both eyes, long-sighted in left eye and short-sighted in right! I wear varifocals but it's a bummer hun isn't it? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Glad you've got out of the house hun xxx 😁😁😁
Glad you got out of the house. Even a little while is good. I made it out too.. Annual mammogram. Human contact is good even for that. I've worn glasses around 30 years with getting older vision changes. I've noticed lately that when I'm tired, I have to stop and re-focus frequently. Doesn't matter whether it's for tv, reading or washing dishes. PC stuff too.
Getting out of the house for a little while helps us feel better.
luvhair glad you were able to get out of the house, even if was for a dr appt. I need to make an appt to get my eyes checked soon as well as it's been a couple of years and I'm due. I have nystagmus in my right eye that has been there as long as I can remember. I have been wearing glasses since I was a kid but never really wore them when I was supposed to (reading/driving) so now as an adult, I have to wear them all the time Hope your vision starts to improve with the lenses.
Jessie
Its the blur/ pain that bothers me. One eye be okay sometimes and other time not. I have optic neuritis. The eyes runs. Which makes no sense to me if they're telling me i have dry eyes. Continue luvhair to follow up with your appointments. That's the only thing i can say with that. Because our symptoms come and go. To me it take several different test for them to put 2plus2 together. I've been told borderline glaucoma. But due to MS. They don't know! When them eyes act up. I close that electronic. I turn off that T.V. because i feel i am making it worst when i barely can see.
