Hi All,

In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.

blessings,

Laurie

Dear God,

Thank you for your new mercies this day. I thank you for my friend who emailed and out of love and concern, suggested that I try a carnivore diet to see if it would help me with my symptoms. She even offered to send me a Butcher Box to help pay for some meat. While I am not fully convinced this is something I want to try, I am grateful for her kindness and just wanting to help me feel better. I pray for discipline to eat the things I know I should eat and strength to avoid what I know I should not eat. Please help me to have self control and to eat the food that I know makes my body feel good.

I pray for all of us with MS and that you would help us to eat well. Some people don't have the luxury of even really choosing what to eat and they just eat what they can. I pray for those in low income areas of the world and that you would send others to share food and bring the help they need. For those of us who do have a choice, I pray that you would give us wisdom, too, with what to eat. Truly, I believe Lord that you made our bodies and know all the of the details and ins and outs of each part of us. How amazing that we are unique, that one person can eat peanuts and yet another can have a terrible allergic reaction to that same food. What may be helpful for one of us may not help someone else. Help us to find some relief from our symptoms through what we consume. Help us to find what works best for us. I pray for that revelation. I pray for your healing to come upon us.

In Jesus' name, amen
