G'day ms newbies. Take a break, relax, lay back. Let a tear fall. Breathe deep then breathe out. This is a big adventure that YOU You are about to undertake. It will have many ups and down. In my opinion more downs, BUT that is the life we face. The challenge before us. Shedding tears is never wrong, but do not ask why me. The answer is always "because", because why I do not know your specific reason, I think because YOU are Human and this is a human disease, so why not YOU. Yes, YOU are special to me, but in the broader scope, are YOU that special? So accept it, try your best to be unusually strong, persevere, laugh at all that ms throws at YOU. Preserve, this if0 doable.
Good luck and do your best,
Royce

I don't believe in a higher being, but I remember thinking, "if there is one, they have a quota to fill for some reason. I must be the strongest one to be granted it at that time as I am able to live with it."
Watch this be the answer as to why I've got it when I eventually pass 🤣
Well said Royce. I remember when I was first diagnosed with MS. The nurse who was training me to inject Betaseron said and I quote: "Everyone has something, this is your something." I went OK then thought to myself - I have MS but MS doesn't have me and went on my way to do all I could via medication, diet and exercise to stay as mobile and strong as I could. Still kicking, swimming and traveling. Stay strong and most of all, be your best advocate. Be well. Si se puede!
