Hi All,

In the US, March is MS Awareness month. I plan to spend this month in prayer, over myself - yes, and for all who are affected by MS. If you don't believe in a higher power, please be respectful and move on from these posts. But if you would like to, please read and join in with me in lifting up these things. My goal is to post once a day for this month.

Dear God,

Thank you for creating this new day. You didn't have to. I believe that one day, you will return in glory and life as we know it will change, in the blink of an eye. Thank you for the beautiful wonders of your creation. Thank you for this book my kiddos are reading and that they are being reminded that there are wonderful animals and innumerable stars and things we cannot explain that you made with just speaking a word. Please turn my heart to you every single day and be thankful for your creation.

Thank you for the many beautiful creations I have seen through this forum. Thank you for this community and for all the wonderful art they have shared. I am blessed to see MrsMike9's button artwork, Jimeka's diamond art, and the poetry and paintings that others have created as well. I thank you for art therapy and that it's one way those of us with MS are pressing on and persevering. So I pray and ask that it would continue on. Help us Lord to be creative like you. Help us to learn how to use our non-dominate hand when our dominate one is not working like it should. Help us to not give up hope. Help us in the midst of our trials to fight to see the beautiful things in life and to make some of those things ourselves.

I believe that one day creation will be no longer polluted and restored to the way it was meant to be. And truly, for those of us who have hope in you, one day our bodies will be restored, too. I ask that you would bring healing before then, but I am grateful that you promise it will happen one day.

I urge anyone to give diamond art a try who has lost the use of their dominant hand. It’s so relaxing, and I urge everyone to find something, craft or otherwise to keep the brain going. We were made to survive and we are never given anymore than what we can handle, 🙏

thanks jimeka I have been thinking about learning knitting or crochet to keep my fingers busy and agile. Or rather to get them back to normal strength.

I agree. I have been complaining to my friends about my trials. God has answered my prayers. I need to get back on oboe. Even if i can not play as well as before.
