They say 3rd should be same as first 2 (or whatever is available) but I want to switch from moderna to Pfizer because of the horrid side effects I had.

I had a lymphocyte subset drawn yesterday to see if my body will even respond to a vax yet (off Ocrevus now x last November).

I had Pfizer shots but honestly I Judy want some form of stability regarding this as we already live with enough uncertainty daily.

Looks like more studies are needed. One showed two thirds of those who had no antibodies after the two shots did not develop them after a third shot either. I got the J&J vaccine and it says there are no recommendations for a booster if you got that yet.

Also, I heard the World Health Organization is discouraging the booster because they want to see the vaccines going to the countries who haven't gotten enough to vaccinate their people.

Not sure why they are discouraging testing people for antibodies. You would think they would want to know how effective the vaccines are on a larger scale. Maybe they are afraid it will show it isn't as effective as they think.

Lots of aspects to consider

I read/was told “””"SARS-CoV-2 antibody responses were lower in those treated with Ocrevus (ocrelizumab) — a therapy designed to suppress antibody-producing B-cells — “in comparison with other patients,” the researchers wrote. All on Ocrevus showed B-cell depletion in the days before antibodies were measured.

“We found a lower SARS-CoV-2 antibody response in patients with MS who were depleted of B cells,” its scientists wrote, adding that these findings were consistent with other studies. "”””

And

“””Antibody Testing

Our providers are not currently ordering antibody testing as the information is not useful. If you are on a Cd20 therapy your test will likely come back negative and if antibody testing is negative it does not mean there is no response to the vaccine. If you have further questions you can discuss this at your next appointment with your provider.
