Thanks for sharing this as it's so true! BTW, my two biggest obstacles are both fatigue and cognitive dysfunction. Yes; I can forget entire convo's too. Say What? 😉

wow this is really to the point of all of us i bet ...i can say it does for me...sure there are days where i am just like most people but again it can change in a minute to what i was to do i can't ...like when i go to the store feels so good to get out of the house and after dealing with lots of traffic i just want to go home ..it was so stressing for to many can't drive and be nice ...then go to the store and can't remember what i went for ...and by the time i get home i just slide out of the truck and have to stand there waiting for the legs to work and to walk...yes some days are terrible ...don't look it till i get home after a couple of hours of driving to store and shopping and driving back home ...have but at least i still can and i will till i can't ....love your self and have lots of laughter to get over the hump...till the next morning and it is a great day again...look at all of the flowers and birds that are in the yard....i know i just go on and on ...isn't that what it is like ....love ya all take care and stay safel...

My current life has far too many interactions which are mistakenly called conversations, those in which one person does all the talking with no response required from me other than, uh huh or hmmm. As someone whose ears are often subjected to such "conversations" I find them justifiably forgettable (and why I love, love, love caller ID).

Put a smoke detector closer and closer to where you cook, till you get the chicken to you liking right. OR, use an oven safe thermometer with temperature alarm. Works great, if you can remember how to set it up?

i often think about my disease.certainly an eye opener. i try not to dwell on things i cannot change,like my old normal life,it does you an appreciation on what we still can do

My biggest issue with all of the above is from people within our ranks that dismiss and belittle others with MS, based on their own experience with an easy and non life altering disease course.

Have you seen the Kesimpta one? I don’t know if they changed the verbiage, but the MS community was quick to let them know “drama” wasn’t an appropriate term to use 5 times in their 45 sec commercial about our disease. I love how excited everyone looks in the ads with their meds 🤣 but I never end up getting the same drug that they got 🙃 or something 🤷‍♀️🤣

They did change the Kesimpta commercial. I heard it earlier this evening. It now uses challenges instead of drama. I guess that's a little better, but it doesn't change the bubbly tone of the commercial.
