Good day to "YOU" beloved ms family. It is still a nice day today well into the 100f , so I am not going outside. I paid attention and I have learned my limitations. That is something for "YOU" to learn and do. NOT everything is ms but why add another health problem to your life.
As "YOU" all know I am huge on having a good long and hard "CRY". It does not mean that "YOU" are weak, giving up or any other negative such nonsense. It means that "YOU" are normal, that "YOU" are of the genus Homo Sapien. A normal person. Do not fear your tears, embrace them and let them flow, get the fear out. It will come back I promise, but let them flow again, and again as need be.
I am still not a Doctor of any sort, BUT my feeling with our illness is that "YOU" want to at every opportunity to reduce the progression, relapse rate of this disease. Nothing will stop it totally, not yet anyway, but OCREVUS slows it the most of the Disease-Modifying Therapies (DMT). Your choice but if I could, that is what I would look at first. I am too old to get it, besides I HATE needles. Though I did them for many years when that was all there was available. With "ALL" of our medicines, there will be side effects, most are manageable.
Otherwise, be smart about your illness. Heat is not your friend, so limit the sunbaking or working in the yard. If "YOU" must wear everything to keep your extremities, core cool. Cooling vest, ankle and wrist straps, bandana, hat, even then still do not push it.
Educate yourself on this disease. Do not be ignorant because "YOU" are too lazy or think that it is hopeless. 20+ years says it is not hopeless, she who must be obeyed 23+ years says it is challenging but it is far from hopeless.
