I got moderna. A military medic gave it to me in my car and he was VERY nice and the shot did not hurt at all. He joked with me about not receiving training about giving shots in cars so je was being creative about putting th band aid down in my car while he gave the shot. The drive theu area was super clean and they kept a good eye on me for 15 minutes after. Whole process took 40 minutes. Very organized (surprisingly)

When do you get the second one? I like the idea of a drive through. Pleased that it went well 🤗

I’m pleased too! 2nd one in a month. They said in 48 hours to get back on website to make appointment

Slight soreness, swelling and redness for 4 days here after Moderna shot #1. Taking 500 bromelain 3X a day helps. Be sure to relax when getting the shot or the needle will tear through the muscle fibers causing unnecessary discomfort. I got mine at the VA. Nice people. Next shot is 28 days later. 14 days after that I will have immunity.

I thank God every morning for what I do have. It makes the sun shine brightly on cloudy days.

I heard the VA was very organized and quick too

Quick, yes. Everything is scheduled. I arrived a little early, waited in the parking lot and was seen immediately. After the shot you go into a waiting room and your temperature is taken. After 15 minutes the temperature is re-taken then you are good to go home. A very tiny percentage of people inoculated will go into anaphylactic shock but they are prepared for this possible event. A well thought out system. You don't get this in the arm hanging out the window parking lot injection sites.

Not true! I went thru in my car and there were medics all around me and i couldnt drive away for 15 minutes. I appreciated not having to walk thru a medical center to get where i needed to go
