G'day family, I hope everybody is doing well, and had a good sleep, and is not to worried about this Wuhan/Covid19 virus. On a non-ms note I might say, take your Zinc and have your doctor look into research from a few days ago about a malaria drug that has been proven to stop Wuhan virus 100% from France. An already in use Malaria drug. REMEMBER I AM NO(T A DOCTOR this is just some info I saw twice and thought I might pass it along. Do with i t what "YOU" will.
ms is a challenging disease. It is not a few aspirins and a lie-down and rest disease. It will take “YOU” effort. It will take “YOU” determination. It will take “YOU” fortitude and courage. It will take “YOU” more than “YOU” have ever given. BUT rest assured it will NOT take more than “YOU” have. ms in one shape or form will exist throughout the entire remainder of your life. It will not go away. I am very sorry to say it will progress, it may get worse. This is a chronic, progressive, incurable, potentially disabling illness. If “YOU” are uncertain what I mean consult a dictionary.
That is the official line. Here is the very unofficial non medically proven ROYCE ms line. “YOU” CAN LIVE WELL with ms. When “YOU” decide to buckle down and put your mind to it, this disease can be whipped into a shape that “YOU” can live with. Perhaps not live with in the manner in which “YOU” had and dreamed of, but most certainly in a way that “YOU” can accept. There is PAIN no matter what “YOU” are told. Pharmaceuticals may or may not help. Booze and drugs may or may not help. Antidepressants may or may not help. There are lots of maybes and very few definitive answers. Welcome to life with ms. There is even a very small percentage of us that have one episode and that is it, unfortunately not me. The first Disease Modifying Therapy “YOU” take may not be the one for “YOU”, after a time “YOU” may have to change medicines. I have done three in my 20+ years. Whatever DMT “YOU” take will not stop your ms totally, be aware of this. Not every piece of advice “YOU” receive will be perfect for “YOU”. As much as my ego hates it, for me to say, not even from me. Do your own unbiased, critical research. I like Dr Aaron Boster MD on YouTube. I do not think he has an axe to grind and little financial incentive in what he says.
Cry when “YOU” need to, and decide that everything that ms throws at “YOU, “YOU” are going to cope with to your best ability, NO, better because there is so very much that “YOU” can cope with and this illness is going to show “YOU” that.
“YOU” are so very much stronger than “YOU” think “YOU are. So very much stronger than they say ‘YOU” are. Believe in the person who is with “YOU” everyday who will never leave “YOU” or betray “YOU”. Who needs a little love and care and a few new tools to cope right now, and everyday now that “YOU” have joined our family.
