What is that little burning spot on my foot on the inside right down from my bunion?

I developed a small area on my inside of my foot below my bunion about 5 years ago out of the blue. I have gout in that big toe, and my foot has become wider. The burning is excrutiating along with sharp pain. Can anyone shed light on this?

I would have it checked out by a foot doctor to rule out anything that isn't MS. MS can cause a burning sensation in your feet. I have hot & cold spots on the bottom of my feet.

I’d guess nerve damage. Possibly even in your back? And I’d see doctor after doctor until you find one that knows what it is, and how to prevent it from getting worse.. I shouldn’t be in this forum I just realized. But I have had this sensation on my foot. Burning and sharp pain. And it got wayyy worse. So, I’ll post my reply and jump out of here.
