Soft-soled moccasins! The drawback is that they aren't waterproof and slip easily when wet. And they're what I call very expensive. But I actually do better with moccasins than any other shoe I've tried.

I have had a pair of those for a few years and they are very comfortable.

The toe doesn't catch on the ground like some tennis shoes do and can be resoled if needed-like I can wear through a shoe!😂

If you want to dress like the 80's, look for Minnetonka on Amazon. I walked into my local leather goods store and asked about them, and they just laughed their heads off. Apparently there's a whole lot of middle-aged women trying to buy them now, and those particular ones aren't sold anywhere else. ☹️
