The 1st 1/2 went fine. I don't have the 2nd half til July 9. I was waiting to post about it after my 2nd half and my blood work I have to do a week after the 2nd half.
The blood work is to check my B cells and to see what's going with them since that is what O is supposed to deplete.
I have noticed some improvements but I'll wait to do an entire post later.

Stay out of the water. I am looking forward to Shark Week. My oldest has autism and is developmentally delayed so he loves sharks. That is the only time I get him to sit my be on the couch to watch tv other wise he stays in his room. I hate that this is happening to you. Keep us updated. Sending Prayers and support your way.
the great white but I think that's because of Jaws. When he was younger the teachers told me he would never count, write, or read so I would watch Jaws with him and we would count every time we saw the shark. That's how I taught him to read and write too is by using the things he loved.
He does! And it's a good thing! I know this! βΊοΈ But geeze, 1, I need notice! If you want me in the hospital! Why does he think I can just drop everything? I don't understand this concept! They did this to me when I had to have emergency back surgery. Told me to get right to the hospital. π Said, um no.. I have to call you back in an hour. ππ I had my babies to take care of. π€ππ¦
It sounds to me as if he needed to communicate the urgency of his directive; it also sounds to me as if he will understand that you have to make arrangements for your dear companion animals (as would I) before getting to the hospital admitting desk. In that, you and I are very alike. When I fell last September, after crawling back to the house, I called a friend to come secure the dogs before I called 911 for an ambulance. Molly and Maggie have to come first, and I would not have recovered so well if they had wandered out onto the road and been struck by cars. They are with me and I with them...and that's all there is to that! In my opinion, anyone who doesn't understand that is not fully human. If you were worried and tense about your furbabies, treatments in the hospital might not work as well as otherwise, and your recovery would be diminished.
Fatigue and cog decline do come with the m.s., but, you mentioned the meds. Meds can really have a negative affect on your m.s. Everyone is affected a bit differently, just as m.s. affects everyone differently. I know of lots of examples of medication negative effects. And, even just starting and stopping them can create problems too. So sorry. Hope the docs get it straightened out sooner than later. At this point I'd be trying to get everything charted out so maybe a new doctor you may see in the hospital can see the whole picture without having to rely on your other doctors for the info. Start by listing all your meds, as well as the history and time line of other meds you were on. Read all that fine print on your meds, past and present. Then try and look for the obvious hidden in the fine print. You might get lucky, but, what you are not likely to find is what your specific cocktail of meds can do.... Just what you don't want to have to even attempt feeling like you do... Okay, I have 2 really smart kids medically. Neither is a doctor, but either can hold one really in depth conversations with their doctors about their meds, such that their doctors usually walk away having to do more research, then following up with another appointment to even comment. Both have been on lots of meds for many years, and still are. And yes, they happen to attract all the unusual side effects of their meds. But, it took a whole lot of work on their part, along with their doctors, to come up with solutions that worked for them. It took many years, but they got it all worked out. And in their case, it took a group effort. Each with their many doctors. But remember, someone's got to be the coach of your team. Sometimes, it has to be you. And sometimes,...you have to just get lucky and stumble upon a doctor who saw this once before, and knows to do xyz.
I get blood samples taken for Lemtrada (monthly) & previously samples because of Tysabri (former med) because of the potential side-effects of the med. I don't know what regular bloodwork needs to be done for MS. May want to find out "Why." Maybe for Vitamin D, or other, levels.
