Hi family it's Fancy here. I made it home this past Thursday night but honestly I'm not doing well. I wanted to drop a line to thank you all for the loving, caring, and supportive posts I got from you. You don't know how very much it meant to me to hear those words from so many friends and family in the chat room. My blood sugar is super hyper whacked out due to the high dose steroids I've been on for all my exacerbation caused by that second round of my shingles vaccine. I had no problem with the first but about 8 hours after the second I started going off the deep end with my MS and I wound up in the hospital due to uncontrollable, severe, reactions especially my muscle spasticity. From the ER they admitted me for 3 days. I am very weak but my spasticity problems are under control somewhat.

Let me underline somewhat here. I feel really bad, I'm really weak, and I'm still having major issues but the spasticity is pretty much in check. Whooooppppppeeeeee!!!! I am not allowed to be left alone through the end of the week. Thanks again for bring some of the best friends and family anyone could ever ask for. You won't hear back from me until I start feeling much better. Right now I just need to think about me, rest, and figure out how to get my sugar back where it belongs. I Iove a nd miss you all. Fancy

Fancy, it's a relief to know you're at least home and on the mend. I'm so sorry you've had such a rough go of it for so long.

We can't physically be there, but this family is there for one another with lots of support, and I'm glad you've felt it.

Just keep taking care of your needs right now. Hurry and get well!

So Sorry! You're going through H E double toothpicks! BUT, look at it like this, you're making progress in this personal war you're fighting now! The victory flag may still be way up the hill, but you can do it, you just have to keep telling yourself. So, do I still do the double course shingles vaccine on my to do list? Sure? Hope to have you back soon!

Glad you are home Fancy, hope you feel better soon. Being at home to recouperate seems to go better because you can relax without a nurse/staff/etc. waking you up every so many hours.
