His nurse called me back yesterday to let me know after I had sent messages through the online portal to his office. Also told her that I needed 10mg Baclofin to be called in instead of the 20mg to be cut in half because they pretty much disintegrated when I tried to do that. So just have to wait..again for the mail order meds to arrive. I know they received the order because I received a text about it and double checked it online. Fingers crossed that this new med will help with my headaches.

Thanks so much jimeka I just hope that this med works as a lot of diff meds haven't worked or they did and stopped working or caused too much weight loss. Will update when I know!
I've been on propranol since my first neuro in early 2014 for twitching in my eyes and to help regulate my blood presdure/heart rate. I'm now at a higher dosage than when I began but it has helped. Sometime my migraines still slip through but it's better than the daily ones. I hope it helps you too
I wasn't prescribed metoprolol for years, although I had asked a few times about that or propranolol. I think all doctors shied away from it because my blood pressure was always low. It took having a sudden spike in my pressure (a side effect of another med, which I quickly stopped) to have it prescribed. As my blood pressure returned to normal quickly, I also noticed that the frequency and intensity of my migraines were greatly reduced. I asked to stay on the metoprolol, and the doctor agreed. I was able to stop the metoprolol after menopause. It made me sad that I had gone through all those years with awful migraines (is there any other kind?), but might have had relief.
I have never had a problem with my blood pressure except when I woke up in extreme pain from my sciatic nerve being pinched last year. I went to the ER because I couldn't stand the pain and that caused my BP to be extremely high. After the pain was gone and everything 'went back into place' my BP has been normal since. I sure hope that this will help my headaches like it has others. I see that it has shipped so I'm happy about that Stay tuned!
