A toilet seat bidet called Swash 300 made by Brondell , the S300 model can replace a regular toilet seat and helps to keep rectal area clean. Miralax as laxitive is very helpful.

Urologist recommended D-Mannose 1000 mg twice daily to help prevent recurrent UTI.

He said 90% UTI caused by E.Coli and that mannose works by preventing the bacteria from sticking to the bladder wall. I hope you don't ever have these problems but IF you do these are things I have found useful.

Here are a couple of links about this:

I haven't read anything about this for quite awhile, so thank you for bringing it up. It's always a good idea to discuss any treatment with your doctors so we don't have issues with drug interactions, side effects, etc.

I have constipation problems because of MS. I take Linzess every morning with a bottle of water. I also take 3 stool softeners at night to work with the morning Linzess. I will have

2-3 runny bowel movements within 1-2 hours of taking the Linzess. My only problem is the linzess is very expensive and now that I'm in the medicare "donut hole" even with my supplement insurance, it is over $400. for a 3 month supply. I'm looking into alternatives. I've tried all the fiber supplements including eating lots of fiber, eating prunes, etc. I don't know what to do next, but can't keep up paying for the Linzess,
