Most people around here are female. @/3 or so. Ladies do you leave the house without a tampon or pad during your menstraul days or do "YOU" just stay in the house? That is a serious question. Now we all have ms of some sort, whyever would "YOU" take the risk of bladder or bowel emptying in public when it is possible to protect against it? I most certainly do not wear protective underwear 24 hours a day, my mothers floor attests to that. Rest assured though, when I leave the house my protective underwear is on. The pizza shop knows this as I have walked out of the toilet (bathroom)in my Depends once or twice. I have stopped drawing large smiley faces on the front of them as I really should not draw to much attention to myself with children around.
it is okay to ask how do "YOU" know when, but I am a firm believer in being prepared, black is a good colour for hiding leaks, long shirts are also good.

Long shirts and black pants only hide so much. I know because I have been there, done that. Wear your protective underwear when out in public. You might not need to, but for the one time that you do, you will be glad that you did!
Here are my tips: never leave the house without wearing what I term a piddle pad. On long trips, wear Depends and a piddle pad. Know the location of the ladies' room in every place you frequent. When coming into AC when the day is blazing hot outside, make the first stop in the ladies' room. Stash extra piddle pads in the glove box in the car, your purse, every bathroom in your house. And if all else fails, try not to pee in your shoes.
Great solid advice, goatgal and pee in your shoes is not comfortable at all! Not to mention, you most certainly can ruin your good and only pair of shoes.
Liners, a plastic bag, & extra pair of panties. After 3 years of this, I just had to re-explain all of this to the hubby!😃😃👍
I totally agree with you, I find being prepared is always better than not being ready. I took an out of state trip to a camping site and had serious bladder issues *really bad bladder leaks, unexpectedly!*. The closest town didn't seem to have much either so I was grateful I packed plenty of spares in my car. I always wear black/dark pants too but I find bringing backups always helps. We can never tell how our bodies will behave outside of home I argue.
My urgency issue is just so inconsistent and not often that it’s not always front & center in my mind. But everyone in my house knows if I am just arriving home & need to pee, clear the way & hold all conversation 😂
