Cane Hacks

Sounds bizarre and pitiful, but has anyone ever used an umbrella for a cane, until you get a script for one? What other "cane hacks" can u suggest until I can get one? Been to Salvation Army but u have to be referred by a professional to get a free one, and Goodwill here is too expensive for my limited income budget! Thanks in advance! 😁

Trekking poles they look like ski poles. I know a lot of people use it instead of a cane. My tia chi teacher says it’s better than a cane n she uses it to exercise. She also has MS

I have recently kids keep taking mine apart it was raining used umbrella also son made me stick from branch carved down my kids are hard on canes have 5 currently in limbo but also have Walker in pinch use it
