hmm in a strange mood today so YOU" my friends get strange writings, to read, lucky "YOU".
Yesterday somebody posted this "You were given this life because you were strong enough to live it" and of course it set my mind to thinking. ms interfered and made me doubt myself as I am sure "YOU" have doubted yourself at times, but I got back to my thinking and I think I may have found an answer. I only have Relapsing Remitting ms (RRms) it is not something we will die from, it is something that we all have to learn to live with. Admittedly for a very very long time. Yes, it is incurable but I have found over the years that I am comfortable with that, not in any way shape or form happy but comfortable. To be realistic, mankind does not really cure anything. We cut things out, we poison cancers, we give ourselves small doses of diseases to let our bodies develop some familiarity with viruses. We really do not cure very much. Why ever would we expect to be cured? It would be nice but I am not really betting the farm that it will ever happen.
Anyway back to subject, "I was given this life because I am strong enough to live it" Okay very easy answer, YES. YES I am and so are "YOU", we all have our moments of doubt but we are supposed to. If we did not we would not be Homo Sapiens (Human Beings) We are not perfect or emotional Rocks of Gibralter. We all are just normal everyday people. But we are special in a way that we sometimes even doubt. We have a chronic incurable medical condition, but we and that is "YOU" as well. Live with, survive with, and sometimes even thrive with. I am not happy having RRms but I do think in those philosophical moments that I choose this path because I "CAN" survive it. Perhaps if "YOU" look inside yourself, "YOU" will see that glowing spark within "YOU". That spark that "YOU" are going to make stronger until there is a raging fire with in "YOU". A fire of such strength that ms never can put it out. In the darkest of times, your fire will lead "YOU" and fortify your resolve to make your ms life the best that "YOU" can live. We might have chosen this path, let's not let it go to waste, let's just do it once and learn what we have to and move on.
We are strong, we can WE will if not beat ms at least Manage it so well to make our lives ones to be content with.
